Talks and lectures include:

Casanova and the Art of Success: Lessons in surviving in style from the world’s greatest lover.
Ian's 2008 biography of the legendary lover uncovered startling new evidence on Casanova - as a food writer, Kaballist...but also as a philosopher on the art of suceeding in life (not just in love).

Cooking for Kings: the career of the First Celebrity Chef
(The subject of Ian's bestselling biography), a new perspective on the culinary arts and business from the point of view of the man who began it all cooking for Napoleon and then at the Brighton Pavilion; can be mounted with period-food-cooking demonstration.

Beau Brummell: Sex, Scandal and the rag trade: The Man who invented the Suit
(The subject of Ian's bestselling biography), the only globally successful export of the British Empire was The Suit. It was invented by one man: Beau Brummell; the most famous man in Regency England: the original Mr Darcy. A tale of sex, scandal, shopping - and everything Jane Austen never told you about what really went on in the Regency West End.
