Dallas Campbell

Dallas Campbell is an actor and writer whose curiosity and original mind have led him into a parallel career as one of TV’s freshest and most sought after presenting talents.

After finishing series two of BBC1's prime-time science show Bang Goes the Theory (BGTT), Dallas is currently touring the UK as part of the Bang Roadshows, as well as working on a BBC4 documentary looking for life elsewhere in the Universe.

Prior to his BGTT role, Dallas co-presented Five's enormously successful The Gadget Show, where his exploits redefined the word 'geek'; racing jet powered street luges, wrestling robot jellyfish, testing the latest in gadgets of all sorts, as well as his proudest moment, breaking the Scalextric land speed record.

His passion for demystifying science, and for immersing himself in some the more off-piste areas of life, took Dallas to Los Angeles to work with Documentary legend RJ Cutler (The September Issue), on his own investigative comedy series Dallas Campbell's Guide to the Impossible for The Discovery Channel. It saw Dallas trying to have a crack at things which laymen aren’t supposed to be able to do; going into space, breaking the men’s 100m sprinting record, or journeying to the centre of the Earth, for example.

Dallas is experienced working in a live environment. He has hosted countless road-shows with the BGTT team, and has worked on many other science events, including the monthly Science Museum Lates.

He is available for a variety of corporate work including awards hosting, conference facilitating, presenting in-house corporate DVDs, or anything gadget, technology or science related! Corporate clients include Samsung, Schmick TV and Party Poker.
